We are looking for a Technology Manager to lead our Product Development team, overseeing the creation and deployment of our mobile applications and web-based admin dashboard. The ideal candidate will have a robust technical background and experience in managing diverse teams to launch products globally.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Strong understanding of front-end technologies such as React JS and Angular JS.
- Familiarity with mobile app development frameworks, particularly React Native.
- Insight into backend development best practices, especially with Ruby on Rails.
- Knowledge of database management systems, preferably PostgreSQL.
- Experience overseeing projects deployed on AWS with a solid grasp of DevOps principles.
- Comfortable with version control, particularly using GitHub.
- Proven experience in leading and managing a team of developers and IT professionals.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to implement agile and scrum methodologies.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to manage diverse and global teams.
- Adept at conducting code reviews, performance reviews, and providing constructive feedback.
- Capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously with a keen eye for detail.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Additional certifications in management and agile methodologies are a plus.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage and oversee the product development team, guiding the planning, execution, and delivery of high-quality software solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product vision, strategy, and roadmaps that are deployed across various countries.
- Ensure the adoption of best practices in coding, testing, and deployment, with an emphasis on efficiency and scalability.
- Lead technical discussions and decision-making to ensure alignment with the company’s objectives.
- Facilitate continuous professional development within the team through mentoring, workshops, and training opportunities.
