Description:

We are looking for a Technology Manager to lead our Product Development team, overseeing the creation and deployment of our mobile applications and web-based admin dashboard. The ideal candidate will have a robust technical background and experience in managing diverse teams to launch products globally.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Strong understanding of front-end technologies such as React JS and Angular JS.
  • Familiarity with mobile app development frameworks, particularly React Native.
  • Insight into backend development best practices, especially with Ruby on Rails.
  • Knowledge of database management systems, preferably PostgreSQL.
  • Experience overseeing projects deployed on AWS with a solid grasp of DevOps principles.
  • Comfortable with version control, particularly using GitHub.
  • Proven experience in leading and managing a team of developers and IT professionals.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to implement agile and scrum methodologies.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to manage diverse and global teams.
  • Adept at conducting code reviews, performance reviews, and providing constructive feedback.
  • Capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously with a keen eye for detail.
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Additional certifications in management and agile methodologies are a plus.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Manage and oversee the product development team, guiding the planning, execution, and delivery of high-quality software solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product vision, strategy, and roadmaps that are deployed across various countries.
  • Ensure the adoption of best practices in coding, testing, and deployment, with an emphasis on efficiency and scalability.
  • Lead technical discussions and decision-making to ensure alignment with the company’s objectives.
  • Facilitate continuous professional development within the team through mentoring, workshops, and training opportunities.
